I’m a New York native, currently living in Brooklyn with my 9-year-old twins and an ill-behaved French bulldog named Mango. For the last decade, I’ve been reimagining, designing, renovating, and building living spaces for individuals and families who appreciate the ways that homes, identities, values and creative expression intersect.
I’ve always been passionate about interiors, but after graduating from Princeton University with a degree in cultural anthropology, I spent many years in Los Angeles as a songwriter, producer and performing musician before transitioning full time into real estate development and interior design. Great songs and great homes are actually very similar in many ways; both when finished, equal more than the sum of their many intricate and interconnected parts, and both involve a relentless quest to make something both beautiful and personal at the same time. In fact, I like to think of a well-designed home as a visual equivalent to a favorite soundtrack, where disparate components come together to tell a story, create a distinct atmosphere and evoke an emotional response.
Additionally, as a compulsive traveler (56 countries and counting!), I bring a global sensibility to every project, ensuring that every home – and even room- has its own original narrative. From Turkey to Laos, Colombia to Dakar, the Baltics to Egypt and beyond, I scour the world for local artisans, textiles, art and inspiration, and in turn, offer that perspective and international vendor network to clients.
