For nearly a decade, I’ve been designing, renovating, building and decorating living spaces both for homeowners and real estate investors alike. My soup-to-nuts understanding of how residential buildings are built and how people use them allows me to create living spaces tailor-made to a client’s needs while also adding value to their investments.
I’ve always loved interiors, and spent time as a child learning about everything from antiques to color palettes and placement from my grandmother and mother, both avid design aficionados themselves. After graduating from Princeton University with a degree in anthropology, I spent many years as a songwriter, producer and musician before transitioning full time into real estate development and interior design as a career. I like to think those two fields aren’t dissimilar in many ways; both involve creating a finished product that is more than the sum of its many intricate and interconnected parts. Both involve a relentless quest to make something beautiful.
Every building, home and client is unique, and for personal residences, I bring my extensive sourcing knowledge, creativity, and vendors discovered during extensive travel to over 50 countries (and counting!) to make sure that every project – and even room- tells its own original story. For multifamily properties, where maximizing returns is key, I combine thoughtful design with quality fixtures/finishes at the most advantageous price point possible to achieve target rents and create a positive experience for tenants.
